Truck Crash at Stadium Drive Roundabout

Traffic Delays Expected

Truck Crash at Stadium Drive Roundabout

Massive delays on the Pacific Highway at South Coffs Harbour this morning following a B Double truck crash near the Stadium Drive/Englands Road roundabout.

The crash happened around 4am heading northbound, and is causing issues for traffic in all directions after the truck left the road.

According to Triple M listener Michael, the truck appears to have come through the roundabout and mounted the kerb, coming to a stop in the garden bed.

Sally also called Triple M's Moffee saying that the conditions are "hideous" at the moment with traffic stopped in each direction as it heads towards the roundabout.

Traffic is unable to access Englands Road with commuters to use Isles Drive as an alternative. While motorists are advised to avoid using Stadium Drive while the clean up continues.

The location is becoming a constant trouble spot with trucks, one listener said, "I live down Englands Road. Go to work at 4.25 every morning.  I sweat sitting at the roundabout there hoping all trucks go round not through. Will start going long way round now. This is happening too much. Just slow down".

Delays are expected as the salvage operation gets underway.
