Officers executed 24 search warrants across the region on Wednesday and Thursday where they arrested 28 people on a combined total of 74 charges including producing, trafficking and supplying dangerous drugs.
The arrests were part of Operation Quebec Trawler which has seen 253 people charged with 640 offences since the operation commenced in July.

Officer in Charge of the Darling Downs District Tactical Crime Squad Senior Sergeant Matt Howard said the operation was being driven by information provided by members of the public.
“The people of the Darling Downs are getting behind their local police and working with us to disrupt and remove insidious drugs like ice in our community,” Senior Sergeant Howard said.
“Valuable information provided by members of the public has helped police take strong action and has ultimately resulted in the arrests of more than 250 people since July.
“We would continue to encourage anyone with information about drug activity in the Darling Downs to come forward to report it.
