A thief has stooped to the low act of stealing a car from a local charity – the vehicle belonging to the Toowoomba Hospice.
The white Mazda 3 Hatchback was stolen on November 27th between 10:30am and 11:20am from the O’Quinn Street premises.
The driver of the vehicle had left the keys in the car while he was unloading a water delivery.
Police believe a man opened the unlocked door, started the car and drove it away, turning left out of the driveway.
The offender is seen wearing distinctive white sunglasses and bandana. The vehicle has since been involved in a fuel drive off at Grantham (pictured).
The vehicle was in very good condition with Toowoomba Hospice written in maroon on sides and at the rear of the vehicle Qld registration 415 WHU.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers 1800.333.000.
