Terrifying ordeal for 2 women, child
Arrest made following DV incident

New South Wales police are questioning a man, after an alleged domestic violence incident in Kingscliff overnight.
A woman called Triple Zero around 10pm on Thursday, and told the operator she was hiding in the bathroom of an Oxford Street home with another woman and an 11-year-old child.
She apparently said a man, who was known to them, was in the house armed with a butcher's knife and making threats.
Officers arrived to find the man had fled, but his car was located on Cambridge Street a short time later.
Police surrounded a house on the street, before the Queensland police helicopter spotted the alleged offender climbing out a window and hiding in the backyard, where the dog squad located him a short time later.
He was arrested and taken to the Tweed Heads Police station for questioning.
The two women and child were shaken-up following the incident, but were otherwise uninjured.
