The commute should hopefully become a bit easier for some Sydney residents, with the new Waratah trains to enter service in the coming weeks.
There are a total of 24 new trains, which will be a welcome addition for those travelling to and from Sydney's south west.
This area has been arguably the hardest hit by last November's timetable change, with old trains brought out of retirement to meet demand.
This has meant no air-conditioning during the tough summer weather, and a very chilly trip in winter.
The first of the new trains will start in the next two weeks, and the rest to take to the tracks in the next nine months.
