Essendon has re-signed both Jayden Laverde and James Stewart.
The two will stay at the club until the end of 2020 after both committing to two-year deals.
Stewart has played 27 games for Essendon across his two seasons at the club, kicking 37 goals.
“I’m excited to spend the next two years at Essendon. I believe this side is on the cusp of something special and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together as a team,” Stewart said.
Laverde played seven games during the season, including a 17-disposal, three-goal performance in round 23.
“The club has a bright future ahead and I’m looking forward to being a consistent contributor to the side over the next two years,” Laverde said.
